SpSnap ("we," "our," or "the app") is operated by VirtueTech, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use SpSnap.
1. Information We Collect
Microsoft 365 Account Information: When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and organizational tenant ID through Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL). We do not store your Microsoft password.
Upload Activity: We track the number of uploads per month for tier enforcement. We do not store, access, or retain the content of your uploaded files.
Subscription Information: If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We store your subscription tier and transaction identifiers to manage your account.
Contact Form Submissions: If you contact us through our website, we collect your name, email, and message content.
2. How Your Files Are Handled
SpSnap never stores your files. Photos, videos, and scanned documents are uploaded directly from your device to your organization's SharePoint library via the Microsoft Graph API. Files pass through your device's secure connection to Microsoft's servers — they never touch our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you with your Microsoft 365 organization
- To enforce upload limits based on your subscription tier
- To manage organization-wide settings (for admin users)
- To respond to support requests
- To improve the app and fix issues
4. Third-Party Services
- Microsoft Graph API: Used to authenticate users and upload files to SharePoint. Subject to Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
- Firebase (Google Cloud): Used for user authentication tokens, subscription management, and tenant configuration. Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store: Handles subscription payments. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Storage and Security
Account and subscription data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication tokens are stored in your device's iOS Keychain (hardware-encrypted). We do not store your files, passwords, or payment information on our servers.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and subscription data for as long as your account is active. Upload counts are stored monthly and may be retained for billing records. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
7. Children's Privacy
SpSnap is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at spsnap.app/contact or emailing support@spsnap.app.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or our website.
